Our Distressed Cap celebrates this famous climb which was first featured in the Tour de France in 1962. Originally, this climb only featured the Col de la Bonette which is slightly lower in altitude. To make this the highest bike climb in France and second highest in Europe, you need to ride up the loop road which adds 81 meters and is higher than the Passo di Stelvio and Col de L'Iseran. As of 2024, Cime de la Bonette has been featured in the Tour de France five times.
