This vintage style distressed hat features one of the Tour de France's most visited climbs, the Col du Galibier. On the way to the summit you will also need to climb another famous TdF climb, the Col Du Telegraphe which is 11.8 km in length before a small 5 km descent and then the climb begins again! There is a tunnel under the Galibier but is closed to cyclists which means you climb another 1 km to reach the summit. The Galibier was included in the TdF in 1911. The first racer to summit that year was Emile Georget, chased by Paul Duboc and Gustave Garrigou and of note, were the only racers to pedal over the summit.
